We reserve the right to change the prices.

We will send the invoice by post in the autumn and spring. You can use the instructions on the invoice to convert it into an e-invoice that will then be sent directly to your online banking service.

Students must pay the tuition fees and other payments no later than on the due dates listed on the invoices. Otherwise they will lose their place at the school.

In the case of interrupting or discontinuing studies, the school office must be notified by filling in the change notification form on the Eepos service.

Any tuition fees that have already been paid will not be refunded to students who interrupt their studies in the middle of the school year or neglect to provide notification of the discontinuation.

New students can attend lessons a maximum of two times for introductory purposes at no charge.

After the introductory lessons, before the third lesson, students who do not wish to continue must submit a notice of discontinuation using the change notification form available on the Eepos service.

Terms of payment

Students who do not submit a notification of discontinuation after the introductory lessons, before the third lesson, using the change notification form on the Eepos service will be bound by the payment obligations described below.

Students who begin between 21 August and 13 October 2023 are liable to pay the tuition fee for the entire autumn term.
Students who begin between 23 and 27 October 2023 are liable to pay half of the tuition fee for the autumn term.
Students who quit or take a break between 21 August and 22 October 2023 are liable to pay half of the tuition fee for the autumn term.
Students who quit or take a break on 23 October 2023 or thereafter are liable to pay the tuition fee for the entire autumn term.

Students who begin between 8 January and 16 February 2024 are liable to pay the tuition fee for the entire spring term.
Students who quit or take a break between 8 and 31 January 2024 are liable to pay half of the tuition fee for January.
Students who quit or take a break between 1 and 29 February 2024 are liable to pay half of the tuition fee for the spring term.
Students who quit or take a break on 1 March 2024 or thereafter are liable to pay the tuition fee for the entire spring term.

Payment reductions

We grant payment reductions to siblings or based on the family’s low income. The same student cannot receive both reductions at the same time. The social assistance decision must be valid until the end of September. We will not process late or deficient applications.
Please wait until you have received an official confirmation of admission before applying for a payment reduction.

We may grant a payment reduction based on income if the applicant presents a valid basic social assistance decision as an appendix to the application.

The decision on the basic social assistance can be positive or negative.

If the applicant can present an approval, the payment reduction can be 75–100%.

If the decision indicates rejection and the surplus is small (no more than €200/dependant), the payment reduction can be 25–75%.

The social assistance decision must be valid until the end of September.

Please wait until you have received an official confirmation of admission before applying for a payment reduction.

We will not process applications without an appended social assistance decision.

Decision based on income will remain valid for the entire school year in question.

If a student begins the studies in the middle of the school year or the family’s financial situation deteriorates substantially, an application for a payment reduction for the spring term can be submitted by the date listed on our website.

Applications for the income-based payment reduction must be submitted via the payment reduction form by 3:30 pm on Fri 12 January 2024.

The application and appendices must be sent to the City of Vantaa registry office at the address PL 1100, 01030 Vantaan kaupunki. Street address Dixi, Ratatie 11, 2nd floor, 01300 Vantaa.

We grant a sibling discount for each family’s second student to study at Vantaa Art School. For third sibling and any further students from the same family, the discount is 50%.

The discount does not necessitate a social assistance decision, and it only needs to be applied for once.

The right to the discount ends when the sibling(s) end or discontinue their studies.

To gain the sibling discount, a free-form application must be sent preferably by e-mail to kuvataidekoulu(at)vantaa.fi by 4 pm on Fri 12 January 2024.

The application must list the children's names.
