Vantaa Art School provides basic education in visual arts for children and young people aged 5-20 living in Vantaa.

…ents each; the groups for small children are slightly smaller. The early childhood and basic education groups have students from one or two age groups. In the groups for advanced studies, the age distribution may be wider.
You can study with us until you turn 21.
The lessons per year are divided into 34 study weeks, 16 of which take place in the autumn term, and 18 take place in the spring term.
Our instruction is divided by age group in the following manner:
Early childhood education for children aged 5-6 and 6-7.
Basic education for children aged 7-12. We also offer basic-level building and architecture groups.
Optional workshops for children aged 13-14.
Advanced workshops for young people aged 15-20.
The workshops offered vary slightly by year.
In addition to these, we also hold short courses for young people and families with children at the weekends. You can enrol on the courses regardless of where you live.

Accessibility
The route to the main entrance
- The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
- The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
The main entrance
- The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
- The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
- The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
In the facility
- The customer service point is located on floor 2.
- For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift cannot be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
- The doors in the customer service point stand out clearly. The glass doors have contrast markings.
- The customer service point has an accessible toilet on the same floor.
