Vantaa Art School (Vantaan kuvataidekoulu) offers basic education in visual arts to children and young people aged 5-20.

The students progress from one level to another in accordance with the syllabus of basic education in visual arts.

All courses are subject to a charge. The school has five teaching locations in Vantaa. The teachers are professional art teachers and visual media experts.

The school provides group teaching in Finnish once a week in the afternoons and in the evenings. Most of …the groups have 12-14 students (groups for young children have fewer). The groups for young children and basic education groups have students of one or two age groups. In advanced groups, the age distribution can be higher. You can study at the school until the age of 21. A school year consists of 34 weeks, 16 in the autumn term and 18 in the spring term.
